It’s not about me. The motto for the City of Children mission trip was this, and it was taken to an incredible extreme. Each and every team member acted on the fact that this trip was about Christ and serving Him. Whether jumping rope with kids for hours upon end, hammering upside-down on a work project, cooking for days in the kitchen, or teaching a Vacation Bible School, this motto held true. Hearts were pricked, lives were changed, love was poured out and taken in, and the team was encouraged by each other, by the orphans, and by our God. This trip to the City of Children in Ensenada, Mexico will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who served there July 7th - 13th.
