Getting out of school early, airbrushed t-shirts, China bazaar, Jeff Walling, and a weekend focused on spiritual growth with a bunch of your friends.  It is no wonder that each year around 12,000 people (mostly teens) make their way from all over the country to gather together in Gatlinburg for Winterfest.

This year we took a group of thirty 8th graders and chaperones to Winterfest to experience The Mission.  Jeff Walling, again delivered some incredible keynote lessons as the weekend was split into four sub themes:  Know Jesus, See Jesus, Be Jesus, and Share Jesus.  It is always an amazing experience for our teens to worship with thousands of other teens during each session.  Bob Stromberg and Bean and Bailey were hilarious as usual as they provided the entertainment for the weekend.  If you missed out on the weekend make sure to mark your calendar for Winterfest next year.  In all it was a great weekend.  I know this is one that the teens will remember for along time.
